TASTER SESSION
Comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement is absolutely fine.
Examples include:
Hair should be tied back away from the face where possible.
ONCE ENROLLED
Dancers will be required to wear the appropriate Serenity Dance Studio uniform and dance shoes.
At Serenity Dance Studio, classes are organised and paid for on a termly basis, made in advance. This allows dancers to progress consistently throughout the term, build confidence, and develop their skills alongside their classmates in a supportive and structured environment.
Before committing to a full term, we encourage new dancers to attend a taster session. Taster sessions are charged at a one-off class fee and provide the opportunity to experience a class, meet the teacher and other dancers, and ensure that the class is the right fit. Discounted rates may be available for dancers wishing to try multiple classes before enrolling.
Once a dancer decides to join Serenity Dance Studio, term fees will be confirmed along with all relevant enrolment information. Payment details and deadlines will be provided before the start of each term, helping families plan ahead and ensuring a smooth enrolment process.
We understand that every family’s circumstances are different, and we are always happy to answer any questions regarding fees, payment arrangements, class options or enrolment.
Our aim is to make joining Serenity as straightforward and stress-free as possible!
If you would like further information about fees or would like to discuss the most suitable classes for your dancer, please feel free to get in touch.
Whether you're looking for Ballet, Tap, Jazz or Adult Dance Fit, we'd love to help you find the perfect class.
Absolutely! You're welcome to book a taster session in any of our classes. Each taster session is charged at a one-off class fee, giving you the opportunity to experience the class before enrolling. We also offer discounted rates for dancers wishing to try multiple classes.
Not at all! We welcome dancers of all ages, abilities, and experience levels. Whether your child or yourself is taking their very first dance class or has danced before, our classes are designed to be supportive, encouraging, and enjoyable for everyone.
For taster sessions, comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement is absolutely fine, as well as trainers or barefoot. Due to health and safety reasons, socks & tights are not permitted.
Once enrolled, dancers will be required to wear the appropriate Serenity Dance Studio uniform and dance shoes for their class. Full uniform information can be found on our Uniform & Merchandise page, and we're always happy to help with any questions about sizing or requirements.
To help dancers build confidence, focus, and independence, parents and guardians are generally not able to watch regular classes. However, we understand that younger dancers may need a little extra reassurance when they first join us, and we will always work with families to ensure a smooth transition.
We also provide opportunities throughout the year for parents to see their child's progress through demonstrations, performances, and special events.
